I find creating quilts to be a joyful sewing experience. Inspiration can come from a pattern that speaks to me or fabric that I fall in love with. More recently, I have enjoyed sewing with solid color fabrics. I like the modern and clean look of a solid fabric quilt. Bella Solids | Moda Fabrics
Here are Little Fabric Shop, we have some beautiful solid color fabric lines. Our two 100% quilting cotton fabric collections are Bella Solids and Century Solids. The Bella Solids fabric is a lovely broadcloth. This fabric is from Moda, and it has both a nice weight and drape. This collection includes over 350 different fabric colors. We carry 100 of these fabrics and are adding more throughout the year.
Century Solids | Andover Fabrics
The Century Solids collection features brilliant color saturation and a slightly lighter weight. Andover Fabrics created the line to celebrate 100 years of business. There are 100 different fabric colors in this line, and we carry all of them.
Peppered Cottons | Studio E Fabrics
In addition to quilting cotton fabrics, we also carry two thread-dyed woven fabrics. The Peppered Cottons shot cotton fabric is a favorite among sewists. This fabric is a lightweight fabric and has a stunning color selection. This fabric line has over 50 different fabric colors and we carry every fabric in the Peppered Cottons collection.
Cirrus Solids | Cloud 9 Fabrics
Finally, we have a lovely organic cotton solid fabric line called Cirrus Solids. This fabric is from Cloud 9 Fabrics. This woven thread-dyed fabric has a heavier drape than shot cotton fabric and is one of my favorite fabrics to quilt with. We carry over 20 different colors of this group.
